Tune in: Integrations and payment orchestration
by Jeremy Nicholds,
CEO, Judopay
Welcome to my first transaction update - “Tune in”.
With so many developments in our company, announcements and economical challenges, it felt like a good time to try and encapsulate some of my ongoing thoughts and updates in a few words here and there.
I’ll aim to make these “tune ins” a regular but likely also sporadic feature. Stay tuned.
Wow. Nearly 2 months since our acquisition announcement and… it has absolutely flown by.
Since announcing Judopay’s acquisition by Fabrick, I’ve viewed our integration in 2 parts…
- The technical, integrating our new group’s technology into our own, and ours into theirs, so we can both offer additional payment solutions to our customers.
- The people, working closer with and getting to know our new colleagues at Fabrick, and its other subsidiaries.
For this tune in, I’m going to focus on part of the technical integration. Namely a new product, owned by our sister company, that our team have been integrating into our platform.
Payment Orchestration
(or as termed and trademarked by our sister company Axerve, “Payment OrchestraTM”).
A disruptive buzzword in payments at the mo, and rightly so -
Payment Orchestration is a global payment gateway aggregator.
Why is this disruptive?
While payments have long been dominated by a few incumbents. payment orchestration platforms put control back in the hands of the merchant.
Rather than having to spend weeks debating which PSP to route your payments to, payment orchestration allows you to connect to multiple PSPs via a single platform…
Which means, you can route your payments based on authorisation performance, availability, economics or a mix of all three. Allowing you to automatically route payments to providers that will help to dramatically reduce transaction fees, improve conversion rates, ensure uptime and offer a seamless payment experience to customers, wherever they are in the world.
Earlier this month, working with Axerve, we announced that we would be launching a payment orchestration solution.
In today’s climate, the phrase ‘every penny counts’ is even more true... We know every transaction is vital to businesses and we want to ensure that merchants not only never miss a sale but are getting the best service for the best possible cost.
In June, a few of us joined our Fabrick counterparts in Amsterdam for Money 20/20. For me, this reaffirmed the positive and necessary advancements payment orchestration provides for merchants…
Democratising payments. Putting control back into the hands of the merchants. And truly supporting businesses through this challenging period.
More on payment orchestration and our other integrations to come.
‘Til the next tune in…
Ciao for now.
